  I spent three nights and four days as a support person to my partner, Andrea.
  
  All of the staff were fantastic, each offered helpful advice. As this was our first child, we were a little anxious but the team made us feel confident enough to leave earlier than expected.
  
  We really enjoyed the lactation and bathing classes offered by Carmen. It was incredibly helpful to have clear and succinct information delivered in such a caring and compassionate way.
  
  Sometimes you can feel flooded with information. Staying with the team at Newcastle Private Hospital helped us see the forest through the trees.
  
  All I would say as a downside is the couch/bed I stayed on was a little difficult/hard on my back/shoulder and the food was only enough for my partner. For our next child, I would be happy to pay more to have a comfier lounge and food for me as well.
  
  All in all, a great experience, thank you so much

  Huge shout out to North Wing level 2 nurses and staff, you are all amazing and so appreciated. Thankyou for looking after my mum and being so accommodating to the family. It really is so calming and reassuring to know that the system still has a big heart as well as skill

  Depends on what ward and surgery you’ve had. I’ve had 3 gynaecological surgeries through Newcastle private and couldn’t fault them… however, the rehabilitation ward for a family member of mine was terrible. The nursing staff were rude and didn’t respect me and my family. I will be going there to have my baby so fingers crossed the maternity unit is good

  Cannot fault the team in day surgery. Very friendly and kind. Made me feel very comfortable and calm as it was my first time going under. The after care was amazing and treated everyone in recovery with kindness. Incredibly lucky to have such a compassionate team of nurses. Cannot thank them enough, they even had gluten free dairy free options for me to eat when I came to.

  What a great hospital to be admitted to!
  Total care for my recovery, staff work so hard to make certain that you're comfortable and well looked after.
  Cleanliness is 100% and the meals were something to look forward to.
  Staff become like the family that you have with comforting words and chats over a cup of tea.
  This was my 3rd visit there, it's consistent and never leaves me regretful at all.
  100% recommend this hospital.
